the deja vu in you.
that life was toxic,
and so was ours.
a drug.
addicting and destructive.
giving an intense high.
building you up and up and up;
tearing you down.
time to detox.
let go of the poison.

effects are dose-dependent.
the more one encounters the substance, the more one is hurt by it.
it is species-specific.
